Dear CHRC Researchers and Esteemed Colleagues,

It is with great enthusiasm that we begin a new chapter for the CHRC, following our recent “Excellent” rating in the national evaluation of Research Units by the FCT. This recognition fills us with pride and inspires us to continue growing, innovating, and deepening the impact of our work.

We warmly invite you to take part in the 6th CHRC Annual Summit, where we will share the Centre’s new organisational structure, along with updated proposals for the research lines and activities that will guide this next stage of our journey.

We will gather once again in Évora, on 22 and 23 September 2025, for two days of connection, exchange, inspiration, and collective progress.

The CHRC Annual Summit is a unique opportunity for our scientific community to come together — a moment to celebrate knowledge, exchange ideas, present research and projects, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as a centre of research excellence.

We are a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional, and inclusive research unit, with a clear mission: to develop biomedical, clinical, public health, and health services research and innovation that effectively responds to the needs of society.
